2. My name is so-so to me. It means 'Of the sea' which doesn't seem to fit me anymore. It does get annoying with all the other -issa names.

I always hated it as a kid, and went through all these phases where I wanted to be Jennifer or Jasmine or something. Now I'm okay with it. And it's a lot of fun when I visit Australia ^_^

My favourite names for girls are: Ariel, Sadira, Chihiro, Rhiannon
And for boys I like Sebastian, Noah, Elijah, Diego

And no, I'm not a diehard Little Mermaid fan :P That's just a coincidence!

I would give any kids I have 2 middle names, which me and all my siblings have. And, while this started as a joke, I would now seriously consider making one of those middle names something really epic, such as Dragonhunter or Wolfsbane (regardless of the kid's sex).

Hey- I know I'm extremely late posting (sowee!! haha ) but I was looking through Japanese names (for anime characters-- I draw anime a LOT)
My name is Tiana.
It's cool because there's a lot of different variations (Teyonna, Tianna, Tianah...) and it's unique.

At school, there's usually 2 or 3 Jessica's in the same class as mine, 5 or 6 people with the same middle name, and 3 or 4 people with the same last name. 2. I hated my name for so long but wouldn't change it now for the world, although I now answer to the many versions of my name which I've acquired through travelling. It means freedom in Irish Gaelic, and was pretty unique when I was young though it's becoming more popular in Ireland these days.

Abroad, I answer to sushi, sasha, sercy, saucy (if you try to read my name it sounds like sayorsee), whatevers easiest for others - currently susha-sen :) Sometimes I change it to the native version of freedom if thats easy - liberte in France.

2. I don't like my name and it doesn't suits me, it is in romanian and it means to " to soothe" or "to comfort"... I'm more a caustic person, I usually hurt people around, even without knowing.
It's like I'm the opposite of my name, so, I would change my name in Nona...for me it means Non-Alina, and in latin it means the ninth, in romanian it is a sickness due to oversleeping (or something like that), thing that is very common to me -I always get late to my morning school hours-.
Also in the ancient Rome, it was the ninth hour of the day and also there was a pray named Nona, which was been said in the same hour, the ninth hour of the day.
In music it is an interval between two sounds of the diatonic gamut.
And there are many other meanings of this name.. so .. mostly I will choose this one, more because of his meanings, that i think that represent my strange personality and complex structure of any humans way of thinking.
And second because I think a name must represent his owner and that changing him according the owner's type is not a disgrace to the parents.
