It's been hard to write in here lately because I have been working so much and haven't been taking pictures of anything interesting. Today I taught my third grade class a unit on structure and buildings. I taught them "stability" and how to tell the difference between a tower and a bridge. Then we made a stable bridge out of paper cups, chopsticks, rubber bands, plastic forks, yarn and tin foil.

These girls are really adorable. They're hyper but well behaved, and the class is small. I teach them every Tuesday.

Don't you love their school uniforms? Japanese children have to wear school uniforms in Elementary and high school. You already knew that.

The other news is that tomorrow is my birthday. September 26!
