People love Billy Blanks over here. When I went to buy a bike last week, I walked past two shops that were showing demonstrations of his workout video in the window, and (I'm not exaggerating) there were throngs of people crowded around the TV at both places. Two days ago, I saw a lady in the craziest green shirt that said "Body By Billy" with the face of a random African-American man on it, not even Billy Blanks. Tonight I went for a jog with one of my housemates who spent the entire jog talking about how amazing the Billy Blanks Bootcamp video is and how I can try it if I want because there are three people in my apartment who own the video and do it almost every day. "Billy-San" is huge in Japan.He came to visit Japan a few months ago and his fans met him at Narita airport. Here are two pretty amazing videos showing Billy Blanks and his God-like reception in Tokyo. Remember that Japanese comedy shows tend to go overboard while you're watching. They're really funny videos!

doesn't really matter anymore...billy has left the US and found a new home in Japan
he is the creator of Tae Bo and an amazing person. Tae Bo is still being run in the USA by his daughter Shellie...and Billy is going to be putting on new DVD's this year...so it totally matters!! Tae Bo is the best workout in the world! :)
